Alexa Danelski

Biography

Alexa is a member of the “re.adjustme” team, which formed in an entrepreneurship education course at FU Berlin in the 2017/18 Winter Term. The idea behind re.adjustme is to create a garment which prevents back pain. The garment is equipped with sensors that track the posture patterns of the wearer. These are analysed in real-time. Based on this data, the user will be provided with recommendations that shall positively contribute to back pain prevention. Currently, the solution is at a prototype phase, but it has already undergone some testings.

Apart from the 3 male team members, Alexa is the only female entrepreneur in the group. She is primarily responsible for marketing, sales and customer service, due to her Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the Freie Universität Berlin, and her sales experience acquired at a software company developing project management tools. She is currently completing a master’s degree in Business Computer Science at the FU Berlin with her 3 team members. Additionally, she is working on the “Entrepreneurial Network University” (ENU) Project at FU Berlin, in the field of Entrepreneurship Education.
