Sarah Durante is the founder and chief pro-pie-tress (pun intended) of Humble Pie, a street food, catering and sweets business based in Berlin. Humble Pie serves up Southern comfort food that combines Sarah’s Tennessee upbringing with German and other European culinary traditions. Most days find Sarah either in the kitchen baking a sweet pie, catering a lunch event, or in the bright red Humble Pie food trailer, aka „pie wagon,“ serving Southern fried chicken and biscuit sandwiches.
Prior to founding Humble Pie, Sarah worked in marketing and communications across industries as varied as mapping technology, plastics and chemicals, and fashion. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
